There will be a new Administration and Congress in 2009, which provides unique and important opportunities for the industry. To meet these opportunities from a position of strength requires tools, one of which is an understanding of the impact of non-profit driven community economic development. The National Alliance of Community Economic Development Associations (NACEDA) is collecting information in the form of a national census to measure the economic impact of the industry. This census is available online and requires approximately 45 minutes to complete.

The data collected will be the foundation for national policy initiatives. It will provide the critical information necessary to present the case for community development investments and public policy attention.
Your information will illustrate the types of outcomes community development organizations produce including: housing, commercial development, economic opportunity, job creation, human services, and housing counseling.
